We are seeking a highly creative and analytical UX
Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
user-centered design and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. In
this role, you will work closely with our design and engineering teams to
improve the overall user flow of our products and service and convert them into
UI components. Candidate is expected to think futuristically through the user
journey and suggest, correct, and enhance the design and user journey.
Responsibilities
- Work closely at the intersection of product and engineering.
- Be well versed in UX Design principles and able to
translate design into UI components.
- Translate design requirements into actionable development
plans.
- Establish, manage, and enhance UX engineering best practices.
- Maintain & Improve existing React systems, including
fixing bugs.
- Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements.
- Understand business requirements and convert them into
technical solutions.
- An interest and preferably working experience in agile
development methodologies.
- A team player, eager to invest in personal and team
growth.
- Provide mentorship for Junior and Intermediate Engineers
on your team to help them grow in their technical responsibilities, remove
blockers to their work and perform code reviews.
- Advocate for improvements to product quality, experience,
and user journey.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related
field
- 3+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer
- An understanding of common web development paradigms,
fundamentals of React.
- Extensive work in building, maintaining, and testing
components and component libraries.
- Experience working closely with development and business
teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting,
analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Debugging/troubleshooting experience on performance and
stability tools
