Software Engineer is responsible for requirement
analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of business and
technical information technology solutions for eCommerce application
development through application of appropriate software development life cycle
methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all phases of software engineering including
requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing of
e-Commerce Application
- Design, build, configure and develop eCommerce
applications to meet business process and application requirements using oracle
Commerce / ATG
- Development of Oracle Commerce / ATG application
including hands on troubleshooting and configuration.
- Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
- Perform impact analysis
- Strong fundamentals – OOPS concepts, Exception Handling,
Coding Standards
- Develop code using modern approaches to software
development
- Communicate with clients, colleagues, and managers
promptly as and when required
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum 2 plus years of experience in programming using
Core Java, J2EE and related technology stack
- Experience in Oracle Commerce / ATG would be an added
advantage
- Strong hands-on experience with various web technologies
such as J2EE, XML, HTTP, SOAP, AJAX
- Should have good understanding and experience in MVC
framework
- Very strong knowledge in object-oriented concepts &
design patterns
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Good knowledge on the best practices in coding
- Experience in SDLC methodologies – Agile / waterfall
- Bachelor's and Master's (preferred) in Computer Science
with Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving
- Experience one or more application servers (WAS, JBoss,
WebLogic)
- Behavioral Skills - Excellent Verbal/Written
Communication skills in the English Language
- Demonstrable abilities to optimize code
- Focus on quality & ability to perform code reviews

- Ability to guide other team members on technical front
