Roles and Responsibility

Leads the integration, implementation and support of Digital Infrastructure networking technologies, systems and services.
Installing and supporting advanced server-based infrastructure, containers supporting digital applications, and related traffic management.
Develop and support automation for management of the Digital Infrastructure systems.
Identify innovative, cost effective ways to provide enterprise infrastructure support.
Develop and support automation on Google cloud
Provide or recommend required training programs for developing appropriate skills within areas of responsibility.
Perform administrative functions related to monitoring, support, and project activities
Prepare and communicate status, issues, and opportunities to the business.
Participate in on-call rotation and related activities.
Project Lead on larger projects.

AUTHORITY:

Provide recommendations for the hiring and retention of Digital Infrastructure staff.
Recommend expenditures as required to meet support requirements.
Initiate support activities and projects .
Recommend and enforce Digital Infrastructure standards/directions/technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

4 year degree in Computer Information Systems or an equivalent combination of course work
6+ years of supporting Container based Technologies and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
5-7+ years experience supporting a Linux and Unix Enterprise Systems, specifically RedHat. Solaris and Ubuntu are a plus.
Knowledge of Virtualization technologies: KVM, RedHat Enterprise Virtualization, BHyve
3+ Experience in Google Cloud
Strong Experience in one or more configuration and desired state management solutions such as Chef and Terraform.
Knowledge of Performance Monitoring/Alerting: Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, ELK/EFK Stack
Strong knowledge of logical infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SSH, etc.
Ability to work on-call, after hours, to troubleshoot advanced support calls
